Magic Valley Chess Club is up and running again! (We used to meet at Barnes and Noble)
We meet every other Thursday at the Sawtooth Surgery Center (on the corner of Falls and Washington - 115 Falls Ave W, Twin Falls, ID 83301) from 5:30-8:30 pm.
For those of you who haven't been before, this is what you might expect:
The chess club is very casual. You can come late and/or leave early.
There are no fees. Chess sets are provided, or you can bring your own.
There are often young children to octogenarians, and everything in between with varying skill levels from brand new to chess to very experienced.
You can play as many or as few games as you like (or even just observe). You can choose to play speed chess or slower chess with or without a clock.
If you are interested in improving your chess game, this is a great place to start!
