This is the first Winter Solstice Tournament that actually took place on the winter solstice! We had 16 players from three states. Surprisingly, it was a really nice day in the Treasure Valley with sunny skies and warm temperatures. What's not surprising is that James Wei once again clinched a clean first place with four out of four wins. Leo Wang got second and, a newcomer to the podium, Niall Mackinzie got third. They each had 3 wins. There where other worthy players with three wins: Brain Lange and Nobel Ang, but their tie breaks fell short. Below are all the details:
