Otto Olson is one of the BCSD stars of the chess club. In preparation for Supernationals, Otto performed a simul at the Blaine County Community Drug Coalition's "Find Your Passion" function on Wednesday night after chess club. This celebration displayed numerous groups and their activities that youth could participate in and also Blaine County Youth Week. Giant chess was also another chess opportunity for children in attendance. The Mountain Bike Club, W.A.T.E.R., Girls on the Run, the Bots Club, and a video and dance group was also there. Otto played white and was practicing the Colle-Zuckertort opening and he experienced success with 9 wins and 3 losses.
